Pride and momentum at stake in Marquee clash

Its India vs Pakistan

India may have pushed Pakistan to elimination even without playing them, but fans and sponsors alike have much to look forward too.
June 15, 2013 was a date earmarked in red ink across several calendars of cricket lovers. This, of course was the day when fans and sponsors both looked forward to Pakistan and India barging into each other like freight trains as the clamor for semi-final spot would have been heating up. As it turned out, India elbowed Pakistan out of podium contention even without playing them. While that may come as some relief, they still would not want to lose the momentum. Pakistan, on the other hand, are a proud team and they have much on that front to fight for after consecutive humiliation of their batting order. In this day and age of syrupy media statements, both Dhoni and Misbah would have us believe it is 'just another match'. India versus Pakistan, as Sunil Gavaskar said, is never a dead rubber. Fasten your seatbelts!
